Images 1 & 2: Mary stands within a trefoil patterned arcade with columns in the form of a double helix set against a red background and upon a light green surface. In the entablature of the arcade on the proper right side, the holy spirt in the form of a dove flys towards Mary who receives it with her outstretched arm. Flanking her on either side are tetramorphs ands amphorae with long handles each with a face attached to them. Out of the amphorae a thriving plant grows: a tall stalk, about 1/3 of the size of Mary, supports semi-circular fan-shaped leaves near the base. Two bell-shaped flowers hang just above them and below the crowning flower.
Images 3 & 4: The angel Gabriel stands in a near identical setting and holds in this proper left hand what appears to be lilies. He has come to inform Mary that she will bear the son of God.
