Set against a red background in the upper middle portion of the textile is an elaborate gold threaded Greek cross that flares into club-shaped vines that have sprung outwards and formed in each quadrant of the cross. Two plants with strong, curved stems form a near semi-circle around the cross. Interrupting the growth of the two stems is another small clover shaped plant.
